At Victim Advocates Reaching Out (VARO), our mission is deeply personal. We are Guam’s leading non-profit organization devoted to supporting victims of violent crime and trauma. Every day, we stand beside women, men, and children whose lives have been shattered by domestic violence, sexual abuse, and other forms of violence – helping them find safety, healing, and hope. Through crisis intervention, education, outreach, and partnerships with caring local organizations, VARO is here – listening, advocating, and walking the journey toward recovery with every survivor we serve.
This year, we are proud to celebrate VARO’s 43rd anniversary with our 4th Annual Purple Gala: A Night to Remember – Decades of Style, a vibrant, retro-themed fundraiser event will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Hilton Guam Resort & Spa, Micronesian Ballroom. This special evening is not only a celebration – it's a lifeline. Every dollar raised will help us continue the vital work of empowering survivors and bringing healing to those who need it the most.
